Frequently asked Questions.
Most Common Questions asked.
+ What does hypnosis feel like?
There is no such thing as a "hypnotized feeling" but you will feel very mentally and physically relaxed. You make feel heavy or light, everyone will have a deferent experience as I only guild you into a relaxed state. Any experience you may have comes from you own mind. It is most common for the client to only feel very relaxed.
+ Will I know what is going on?
Yes. You will be fully aware of what is happening at all times. You will hear everything that is said and know everything that is going on around you. You will not lose conciseness at any point.
+ Could I be influenced to do anything against my will or nature?
No. You would not do or say anything which conflicts with your personal moral code or beliefs. In fact you will be able to stop at anytime you want to. Hypnosis can help you to do things you want to do but not make you do things you don't want to.
+ Can anyone be hypnotized?
Generally, yes it does require the ability to concentrate the mind for a few minutes. It is very unlikely that someone who knows they need help and then be able to seek it would not have the concentration needed.
+ How many sessions will I need?
It depends on the individual and the problem we are dealing with. I never give an estimate on how many sessions it will take as this would only programme the client for that number of sessions therefore taking away the possibility that very few sessions would be needed, possibly just one session. Clients should monitor their selves and if they are not showing some improvement after two or three sessions, they should either look at a different type of therapy or a different therapist.
+ Can I bring someone along with me?
Yes. I have no objection to have one or more being present at any session. It is entirely up to you, if you feel more comfortable bringing some one or you prefer to be on your own.
+ Do you offer a free consultation?
Yes. I offer a free 30-minute consultation session. This can be in person or over the phone of Skype.
+ Are therapy sessions confidential?
Yes, all sessions are totally confidential. It is important that you can talk about whatever you want to and say whatever you like knowing that you can just walk away and it will not affect your life at all. Whatever you say stays within those four walls and is like stepping into a separate world for an hour or so.
